What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of testing and QA professionals, including performance management and staffing.
• Establish quality standards and ensure compliance with platform holder guidelines for Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo.
• Manage risk, prioritize testing efforts, and oversee bug tracking and QA reporting.
• Oversee development milestone sign-offs and manage the submission process.
• Act as the primary liaison between QA, Producers, Developers, and external departments.
• Participate in recruiting and interviewing to expand the team.

Requirements

• Must be based in Madrid, Spain for this onsite role.
• Solid experience in software testing and QA within the video games industry.
• Proven experience in a Test/QA Manager role or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, bug database systems, and test planning.
• English proficiency required for effective communication.
• Experience managing and developing QA/Test teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of platform holder standards and submission processes.
• Technical proficiency with PCs, gaming consoles, MS Office, and Source Control.
