What you will do

• Design and evolve reusable components, patterns, and foundations to reduce duplication.
• Define component behavior, states, and variants in collaboration with engineering.
• Manage and improve the contribution model to enable teams to ship components without fragmenting the system.
• Create clear documentation, usage guidance, and specifications for design components.
• Collaborate with engineers on token strategy and the practical integration of Figma with production code.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily workflows to improve speed, quality, and consistency.

Requirements

• Must be based in Spain, Portugal, or Poland.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining a design system at scale.
• Strong technical fluency with Figma, including component libraries, variables, and tokens.
• Experience working closely with engineers to deliver scalable outcomes.
• Strong interest or experience in AI-assisted design and development workflows.
• Ability to justify design decisions to stakeholders and collaborate across multiple teams.
