TL;DR

Salary: €86,000 - €122,000 per year

What you will do

  • Own and deliver quarterly team goals, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to define technical constraints and trade-offs.
  • Identify and resolve project, process, and technology issues.
  • Manage operations and availability through metrics, monitoring, and on-call rotation.
  • Set and improve code review and design standards to foster a culture of quality.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to help develop talent within the team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience developing backend systems at scale using Python or Kotlin.
  • Track record of building highly available distributed systems with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience creating technical plans for significant features with extensible designs.
  • Proficiency in making safe changes within large codebases.
  • Must be based in Spain.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for global collaboration.
