What you will do

• Lead a technical pod of DevOps/DevSecOps engineers while remaining hands-on with architecture and code.
• Own end-to-end infrastructure, CI/CD, and application layers on Azure and GCP.
• Drive systems-level design, including Terraform/Ansible/Helm patterns and platform conventions.
• Manage the pod as a project manager, handling sprint planning, status reporting, and capacity forecasting.
• Champion AI-first development practices, including model-assisted coding and agentic workflows.
• Embed security, compliance, and observability standards into all delivery outputs.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software or platform engineering, with 2+ years leading a team of 3+ engineers.
• Deep cloud architecture experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on scripting experience in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to communicate effectively with US-based stakeholders.
• Must be available to work during US Eastern Time business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries such as BFSI, healthcare, or government.
• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CKA/CKAD, or HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
• Familiarity with ArgoCD, Ansible, and security frameworks like FedRAMP or ISO.
• Full-stack application fluency (modern JS/TS, REST APIs).
