Infrastructure Engineer III (Fintech)

What you will do

• Plan, design, and build core infrastructure systems used by development and engineering teams.
• Debug critical production infrastructure issues, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and enhance platform solutions using Go, Python, or Rust to improve developer velocity.
• Collaborate with product engineering to build performant and secure services for transactions and payments.
• Lead and champion software engineering best practices, guiding others in design and coding standards.
• Spearhead the migration of workloads from on-premise data centers to GCP.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States (excluding California).
• Ineligible for immigration sponsorship; must be authorized to work in the US without future support.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, DevOps, or Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience deploying containerized applications and using Terraform.
• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud environments.
• Proficiency in programming with Go, Python, or Rust, and familiarity with Unix/Linux shells.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and tracing (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).

Nice to have

• Proficiency building and scaling custom Kubernetes controllers and operators.
• Experience managing production environments specifically in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Service Mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Experience scaling relational databases, in-memory stores, and streaming pipelines (AlloyDB, Memorystore, Pub/Sub).
• Bachelor's degree and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
