What you will do

• Execute and validate end-to-end payroll cycles for the UK, France, Italy, and Portugal.
• Monitor and implement regional legislative changes to ensure full tax and labor compliance.
• Manage local payroll vendors, ensuring SLAs, KPIs, and data quality standards are met.
• Align regional payroll workflows with Global Payroll Hub standards and automate processes.
• Act as the Tier 2 escalation point for complex payroll inquiries from employees.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, Tax, Legal, and Treasury teams for efficient operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Portugal payroll processes (mandatory).
• 3+ years of total experience in multi-national payroll (including France, UK, or Italy).
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in using payroll systems and HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP).
• Ability to manage complex Southern European labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.

Nice to have

• Strong proficiency in French, Italian, or Portuguese.
