Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain (Hybrid model with 8 weeks of remote work outside the geographical area allowed).

What you will do

• Analyze mission and system requirements for space missions.
• Coordinate the definition of mission and system architecture.
• Manage mission analysis activities, including orbit selection and debris mitigation.
• Lead the refinement of system requirements for subsystems during implementation phases.
• Maintain system engineering models and generate technical budgets for mass, power, and communications.
• Review subsystem compliance with overall system requirements.

Requirements

• Master of Science in aerospace engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in system engineering.
• Proficiency in formal project documentation writing in English.
• Experience working in integrated teams with professionals from different disciplines.
• Ability to work on-site in Tres Cantos, Madrid.

Nice to have

• Experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
• Background in mission analysis.
• Experience in the design of space mission payloads or spacecraft subsystems.
