What you will do

• Develop reinforcement learning, planning, and control methods for robotics and mechatronics.
• Research neural generative reasoning over formal, ontology-constrained representations.
• Design constraint-aware combinatorial and graph search methods using neural proposal operators.
• Work on causal modeling and cross-domain constraint propagation within engineering ontologies.
• Generate and validate synthetic, physically-grounded training data for safety-critical scenarios.
• Contribute to the company's scientific credibility through internal and external publications.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent research experience in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, or Applied Mathematics.
• Strong research depth in generative modeling, world models, or graph-based reasoning.
• Hands-on experience with transformer or diffusion architectures for structured/constrained generation.
• Comfort working with formal representations like ontologies, typed graphs, or symbolic-neural hybrid systems.
• Solid software engineering practice in Python and PyTorch or JAX.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
