DevOps Engineer (SASE)

Location: Hybrid in Prague, Czech Republic, with three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve continuous delivery and deployment processes across software projects.
• Build automated tools and self-service workflows for R&D and other departments.
• Improve developer productivity and the overall developer experience.
• Lead technical projects from discovery and design through implementation and rollout.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical leads, and engineering managers to identify pain points and improve workflows.
• Define roadmaps, break down large initiatives, and contribute to the internal engineering portal and developer-facing platforms.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Artifactory.
• Experience with Docker and container technologies.
• Programming and scripting experience with languages such as Go, Groovy, Python, or Bash.
• Strong problem-solving, systems-thinking, communication, teamwork, ownership, and accountability skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage context switches, identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive execution.
• Comfort working directly with engineering teams and technical leadership.

Nice to have

• Production Kubernetes experience.
• Knowledge of Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, GitOps, or ArgoCD.
• Backend development experience, especially with Go.
• Experience with developer self-service workflows, DevEx initiatives, or end-to-end technical project ownership.
