TL;DR
Senior Engineering Role (DevOps/iGaming): Designing infrastructure for high-load distributed systems with an accent on reliability, fault tolerance, and security. Focus on leading the DevOps team, executing infrastructure roadmaps, and implementing SRE practices.
Location: Remote, but must be based in Prague (Czechia) or Budapest (Hungary)

What you will do
- Design infrastructure for high-load distributed systems, ranging from bare-metal to Kubernetes in the cloud.
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, fault tolerance, and security.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the DevOps team, involving them in architectural decisions.
- Build and execute infrastructure roadmaps, including migrations, high availability, and observability.
- Collaborate with development teams and product managers on planning and implementation.
- Manage project decomposition, progress tracking, and technical incident management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Team Lead, Architect, or Technical Lead in a product-focused company.
- Proven leadership experience in driving projects and managing/developing engineers.
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to design architecture and simplify complexity.
- Ownership mindset and proactivity in shaping the technical vision.
- English: B2 proficiency required
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms AWS and GCP.
- Programming skills in Python or Golang.
- Experience migrating infrastructure to Kubernetes or the cloud.
- Experience building CI/CD and GitOps processes.
- Track record of hiring and forming engineering teams.
