Senior Engineering Role (iGaming)

Location: Remote, but must be based in Prague (Czechia) or Budapest (Hungary)

What you will do

• Design infrastructure for high-load distributed systems, ranging from bare-metal to Kubernetes in the cloud.
• Ensure platform reliability, performance, fault tolerance, and security.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the DevOps team, involving them in architectural decisions.
• Build and execute infrastructure roadmaps, including migrations, high availability, and observability.
• Collaborate with development teams and product managers on planning and implementation.
• Manage project decomposition, progress tracking, and technical incident management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Team Lead, Architect, or Technical Lead in a product-focused company.
• Proven leadership experience in driving projects and managing/developing engineers.
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to design architecture and simplify complexity.
• Ownership mindset and proactivity in shaping the technical vision.
• English: B2 proficiency required

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms AWS and GCP.
• Programming skills in Python or Golang.
• Experience migrating infrastructure to Kubernetes or the cloud.
• Experience building CI/CD and GitOps processes.
• Track record of hiring and forming engineering teams.
