Salary: $136,000 – $212,800 per year

What you will do

• Lead the research and development of models powering customer identity, acquisition, and retention strategies.
• Partner with Marketing and Growth leadership to develop science-driven business strategies and subscriber segmentation.
• Build predictive models, including propensity, uplift, and causal inference models, to support targeted marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to evaluate growth campaigns through rigorous experimentation.
• Analyze experiment results and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize subscriber outcomes.
• Define and validate success and guardrail metrics for identity and growth programs.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA (locations: Culver City, Sunnyvale, San Francisco, or Seattle).
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, Python, or other statistical/mathematical software.
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.
• 1+ years of experience working with or evaluating AI systems.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a STEM field.
• Experience in a ML or data scientist role within a large technology company.
• Experience creating benchmarks for assessing GenAI model performance.
• Strong ability to communicate complex concepts through written and verbal communication.
