Space Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Perform vulnerability assessments of ground-to-space communication architectures.
• Identify and assess emerging technologies and threats in space communication.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for DoD, Intelligence Community, and commercial space customers.
• Analyze satellite command and control links, telemetry systems, and ground station infrastructure.
• Translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholder audiences.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in satellite communications, RF security, or space systems.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
• Experience with reverse engineering and debugging tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja.
• Strong understanding of satellite communication vulnerabilities, cryptographic protocols, and electronic warfare principles.
