What you will do
- Install, configure, and maintain database management systems to ensure peak performance.
- Implement security protocols and manage user access to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access.
- Perform capacity planning and growth projections based on usage to ensure system scalability.
- Coordinate systematic database project plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop and execute robust backup and recovery plans to prevent data loss.
- Support end users and application developers in solving complex database system problems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Hands-on expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database administration.
- Experience implementing CI/CD processes and working within DevSecOps environments.
- Proficiency in backup, recovery, performance tuning, and database security.
- English: Advanced/Fluent (C1) required.
- Portuguese (Brazil): Fluent (C1) required.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud database platforms such as Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or Oracle Cloud.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
