What you will do

• Design scalable, real-time software architectures for AI-driven features on automotive compute platforms.
• Lead the optimization and deployment of machine learning models for resource-constrained edge devices.
• Oversee integration of AI pipelines with infotainment operating systems like Android Automotive OS and QNX.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to balance feature ambition with compute constraints.
• Establish engineering best practices for code quality, CI/CD, and performance profiling.
• Prototype new AI concepts to maintain leadership in automotive technology.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership.
• Expert-level proficiency in modern C++ (C++14/17/20) and Python.
• Proven track record of shipping commercial software in automotive, robotics, or embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with ML model deployment to edge hardware (NPU/GPU/DSP).
• Deep understanding of POSIX-compliant operating systems, Linux internals, or RTOS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Extensive experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and Vehicle HAL.
• Experience building Voice Assistants (ASR, NLU, TTS) or Driver Monitoring Systems.
• Familiarity with automotive functional safety standards (ISO 26262, ASIL).
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in AI, Machine Learning, or Embedded Systems.
