What you will do

• Lead migration of manually provisioned AWS resources to Terraform (IaC) and move out-of-band persistence into managed codebases.
• Design and maintain high-throughput, event-driven systems using Kafka, gRPC, and Thrift API design.
• Drive AWS cost optimization initiatives while maintaining performance.
• Improve QA maturity by building integration and end-to-end testing frameworks that enable teams to own quality end-to-end.
• Standardize documentation using a unified “docs-as-code” approach across repositories and Confluence.

Requirements

• Location: must be based in Colombia (Bucaramanga).
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Senior Backend.
• Expert-level proficiency in either Go and Java (both required to be considered).
• Proven API design experience with gRPC and Thrift for high-performance service communication.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure migration and management.
• Previous experience with Postgres.
