What you will do

• Design and build scalable infrastructure primitives for CI/CD platforms and developer environments across the engineering organization.
• Develop and operate Kubernetes-based control plane components including GitHub Actions self-hosted runners, GitHub Apps, and secure network access.
• Implement GitOps-driven deployment workflows and ephemeral/on-demand developer environments.
• Create Kubernetes Operators and automation to reduce bespoke tooling and operational overhead for product teams.
• Shape the reliability and scalability of the developer experience by building foundational platform systems.

Requirements

• Remote work from Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, or US locations (Charlotte, Las Vegas, Tampa) with some overlap with EST working hours.
• 6–9+ years experience in SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise including internals, scheduler behavior, and custom resources.
• Experience building platform infrastructure, Kubernetes Operators, and GitOps workflows (Flux/ArgoCD).
• Proficiency in Go or another systems programming language.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms at scale, AWS/cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems reliability.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tailscale or zero-trust networking for CI/CD or remote dev environments.
• Knowledge of SLO strategies, observability frameworks like OpenTelemetry, and multi-tenant platform infrastructure.
• Contributions to Kubernetes ecosystem projects.
• Experience working in high-ambiguity environments.
• Familiarity with web3 concepts.
