What you will do

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins.
• Translate visual concepts into functional, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Test, debug, and maintain web applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and uptime.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to define project scopes and deliver solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including API references and system architectures.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Proven experience in web programming or development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of Git and collaborative workflows.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and security best practices.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available)

Nice to have

• Proficiency with CMS platforms like Wix, Squarespace, or Shopify.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
