TL;DR
Data Developer (AI): Designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, cloud-based platforms, and AI/ML solutions for U.S. Navy modernization initiatives with an accent on data engineering, predictive modeling, and LLM integration. Focus on building robust ETL/ELT architectures, deploying RAG-based AI systems, and translating complex data into actionable insights for defense stakeholders.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to San Diego, CA (Hybrid: 1-2 days onsite per week). U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret Security Clearance are strictly required.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise data integration.
- Build and maintain cloud-based data warehouse solutions using Delta Lake and AWS.
- Develop AI/ML models and deploy advanced analytics using Python, TensorFlow, and Scikit-Learn.
- Implement cutting-edge AI technologies including LLMs and RAG architectures.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to modernize enterprise IT systems.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active Secret Security Clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark/PySpark.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and data pipeline development.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and modern software development practices using Git.
Nice to have
- CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar enterprise platforms.
- Prior experience in defense or federal government sectors.
- Familiarity with Databricks, Tableau, or Qlik.
