What you will do

• Develop production-ready backend code for LLM-integrated services.
• Build automated evaluation systems, including regression datasets and quality metrics.
• Design and validate LLM solutions, including prompt engineering and retrieval systems.
• Measure and optimize model performance regarding quality, latency, and cost.
• Collaborate with domain experts to bridge the gap between data and biomedical requirements.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to San Francisco, CA.
• Proven experience shipping and operating LLM-powered products in production.
• Scientific or quantitative background in ML, statistics, CS, biology, or chemistry.
• Strong technical judgment with a focus on pragmatic, tested solutions.
• Ability to maintain velocity while ensuring high standards for reliability.
