What you will do
- Oversee and maintain the overall gameplay codebase and features.
- Prototype and implement new gameplay systems.
- Support cross-functional teams including AI and Tools departments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within gameplay systems.
- Conduct R&D to stay current with the latest technology and industry trends.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with UE4 or UE5.
- Extensive knowledge of C++.
- Experience working on AA/AAA titles in a similar role.
- Proficiency with Gameplay Ability System (GAS) and UE animation systems.
- Strong understanding of gameplay design patterns in UE5.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Nice to have
- Experience with console development and optimization (PS5/XSX).
- Knowledge of World Partition.
- Experience with decision-making systems beyond Behaviour Trees.
- Scripting skills in C# or Python.
