Fullstack Developer (AI): Designing, building, and maintaining mission-critical, AI-enabled knowledge management solutions for the Intelligence Community with an accent on scalable backend services and responsive front-end interfaces. Focus on integrating applications across complex environments and leveraging AWS cloud-native services to ensure high-performance and secure operations.

Location: Reston, VA. Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active TS/SCI security clearance with current CI polygraph. Work schedule is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), with the possibility of up to 5 days onsite as needed.

Salary: $113,000 - $165,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern software engineering best practices.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs utilizing Java and Python.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Implement and maintain cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers, system administrators, and stakeholders to deliver reliable software.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with current CI polygraph.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience developing applications with Java and/or Python.
• Experience building modern web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and relational database development.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience contributing to UI/UX design and creating user-centered interfaces.
• Experience designing distributed or microservices-based architectures.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Helm charts or Ansible.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
