What you will do

• Define and build a new runtime protection product line for Node.js environments.
• Develop instrumentation strategies and detection logic to intercept malicious patterns.
• Integrate cross-layer threat intelligence from existing security stacks.
• Own the full development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to QA and telemetry monitoring.
• Optimize for low runtime overhead and minimal false positives in diverse hosting environments.

Requirements

• Familiarity with the Node.js runtime and JavaScript ecosystem.
• Strong web application security fundamentals and practical exploitation knowledge.
• Experience with detection rules at scale and balancing security with performance.
• Ability to operate autonomously as a product owner, architect, and engineer.
• Proficiency in English for professional communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI coding agents for high-quality output.
• Prior work on runtime-protection products, WAFs, or instrumentation tooling.
• Background in malware analysis or incident response.
• Familiarity with managed-hosting environments.
• Public security research or authored detection rulesets.
