What you will do

  • Execute and validate end-to-end payroll cycles for the UK, France, Italy, and Portugal.
  • Monitor regional legislative changes to ensure full compliance with local tax, social security, and labor laws.
  • Manage relationships with local payroll providers, ensuring SLAs, KPIs, and data quality standards are met.
  • Align regional payroll workflows with Global Payroll Hub standards and drive automation projects.
  • Serve as the Tier 2 escalation point for complex payroll inquiries from employees and authorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with People, Finance, Tax, Legal, and Treasury teams.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Paris to support the hybrid work model.
  • 3+ years of experience in multi-national payroll.
  • Proven expertise in Portugal payroll (mandatory) and/or France, UK, or Italy.
  • English: C1 (Fluent) proficiency required.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP) and local payroll providers.
  • Ability to navigate complex Southern European labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.

Nice to have

  • Strong proficiency in French, Italian, or Portuguese for communicating with local authorities.
