What you will do

• Act as the technical escalation point for the most complex FICO problems.
• Own solution design and system architecture for the finance platform in S/4HANA, deciding between build, configure, and standard.
• Lead FICO workstreams and quality-gate deliverables from external implementation partners.
• Improve financial workflows following SAP Global Standards and "Clean Core" principles.
• Mentor FICO consultants, review their work, and establish best practices and runbooks.
• Design modern integrations using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to connect S/4HANA with other systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO (GL, AP/AR, AA, CO) within SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.
• Must be based in the EU and work within ±3 hours of Munich time zone (CET/CEST).
• Solid knowledge of SAP REFX and integration points with MM, SD, and Subscription Billing.
• Proven experience designing RICEFW items and interfaces in SAP Integration Suites (CPI, BTP).
• Strong accounting background in IFRS and HGB.
• Fluent English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Treasury and BCM.
• Understanding of adjacent systems in the data chain such as DWH and automation tools.
