TL;DR
Founding Engineer (Fullstack): Building a B2B SaaS platform to modernize supply chain operations for consumer goods manufacturers with an accent on real-time production run management and communication. Location: Remote, based in Brazil (hybrid rhythm expected during early months)
Salary: $6,000–$8,000 USD/month + ~1% equity

What you will do
- Audit and take full ownership of the product's existing codebase and architecture.
- Build and ship end-to-end features using Python, FastAPI, and Next.js.
- Design and maintain the PostgreSQL database schema via SQLAlchemy and Alembic migrations.
- Implement and maintain real-time features using WebSockets.
- Manage infrastructure and deployment workflows on Railway to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate daily with the founder to translate the product vision into a shipped MVP.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of full-stack software engineering experience with strong system architecture knowledge.
- Professional proficiency with Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, and Next.js.
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience optimizing PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience building real-time applications with WebSockets.
- Must be based in Brazil to accommodate a hybrid work rhythm.
- Strong written and verbal English for daily collaboration.
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of AI/LLM technologies (OpenAI APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval).
- Experience building products from 0 to 1 in startup environments.
- Personal projects or side builds demonstrating initiative and technical range.
- Regular use of AI tools in day-to-day engineering work.
