Location: Must be based in one of the following countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Romania, Slovakia, or Slovenia. All contractors must visit the office on their first day to collect equipment.

What you will do

• Assess cloud security posture and identify risks across hirify.global environments.
• Design and implement scalable security controls and perimeter security for cloud infrastructure.
• Strengthen CI/CD pipeline security and software supply chain integrity through automated testing and provenance.
• Implement RBAC and least-privilege access models for production environments.
• Develop governance and security controls for the adoption of AI-enabled engineering capabilities.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation including solution designs and implementation plans.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with cloud security in large-scale cloud-native environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud security architecture.
• Expertise in securing CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Knowledge of software supply chain security, including artefact signing and vulnerability management.
• Experience working in highly regulated or business-critical production environments.
• Must be based in one of the specified European countries.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing security controls for AI or machine learning platforms.
• Knowledge of cryptographic controls and key management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and policy-as-code tooling.
• Familiarity with payment platforms or financial services environments.
• Cloud or security certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, or CCSP.
