What you will do

• Architect and operate security controls for corporate environments, multi-cloud research infrastructure, and multi-million-dollar GPU training clusters.
• Design and manage a resilient End User Compute (EUC) fleet spanning Linux, macOS, Windows, and NVIDIA GPU workstations.
• Implement phishing-resistant Zero-Trust access using modern mesh networks and hardware-backed authentication (WebAuthn/FIDO2).
• Develop Security as Code (SaC) via Terraform/Pulumi to eliminate configuration drift and ensure auditable deployment pipelines.
• Build telemetry pipelines and behavioral detection engineering to identify post-exploitation techniques and lateral movement.
• Lead compliance audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP) and manage vendor risk assessments and legal contract negotiations.

Requirements

• 20+ years of deep engineering experience in high-valuation companies or defense-grade environments.
• Proven track record of building and operating security engineering functions at scale.
• Expert-level knowledge of Linux/macOS internals and securing specialized hardware (NVIDIA GPUs).
• Deep expertise in public cloud architectures, IAM governance, and Kubernetes/container isolation.
• Experience supporting major security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO, NIST) and leading enterprise security reviews.
• Must be able to comply with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
