What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of data engineers supporting diverse business and engineering stakeholders.
• Design and oversee scalable, cloud-native data architectures for batch and real-time pipelines.
• Develop the vision for the data platform, identifying technology gaps and setting quality standards.
• Ensure platform scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Management to prioritize initiatives and implement agile development practices.
• Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related fields.
• 2+ years of hands-on people management experience.
• Expert level SQL proficiency and deep familiarity with dimensional modeling.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Interest and experience in exploring AI tools and workflows to improve efficiency.
