• Architect and develop core Cesium Native C++ libraries to support integrations with major game engines.
• Drive research and implementation of advanced 3D graphics algorithms for large-scale geospatial visualization.
• Profile and debug engine components to eliminate performance bottlenecks.
• Set standards for engineering excellence through code reviews and strategic technical guidance.
• Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of technical innovation.
• Partner with leadership to define and execute the multi-year technical roadmap.

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional experience in 3D runtime or game engine development.
• Expert-level C++ development skills (C++17/20/23) with a focus on API design and modular architecture.
• Recognized expertise in modern graphics APIs (Vulkan, DirectX 12, Metal) and 3D mathematics.
• Proven experience leading technical design for Unreal Engine, Unity, or NVIDIA Omniverse.
• Strong understanding of geospatial concepts like photogrammetry, point clouds, and 3D Tiles.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship available.
