TL;DR

Institutional Business Development Lead (Web3): Driving capital formation for curated on-chain vault strategies with an accent on building and converting a high-quality pipeline of sophisticated allocators. Focus on managing the end-to-end sales cycle, mastering complex risk frameworks, and representing the company to institutional LPs globally.

Location: Remote (Global)

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 + Commission + Token & Equity

What you will do

  • Identify, target, and secure relationships with institutional LPs including family offices, hedge funds, and VCs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to signed commitment and onboarding.
  • Translate complex vault strategies, risk frameworks, and return drivers into allocator-grade narratives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for LPs, providing performance updates and securing re-allocations.
  • Represent the company at major industry conferences and high-level networking events.
  • Provide investor insights and competitive intelligence to internal product and strategy teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in institutional capital raising, investor relations, or business development.
  • Strong existing network of institutional allocators with the credibility to secure meetings with decision-makers.
  • Deep understanding of portfolio construction, risk-adjusted returns, and fund mechanics.
  • Strong working knowledge of digital assets, DeFi, and on-chain yield generation.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage CIOs and quantitative analysts.

Nice to have

  • Experience navigating KYC/AML and digital asset compliance.
  • Familiarity with custody solutions and CRM pipeline management tools.
