Engineering Project Manager (Pharma)

What you will do

• Lead multiple capital projects above €5M from feasibility through detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, qualification, handover, and close-out.
• Build project organizations, select external contractors, and coordinate engineering project leaders and delivery teams.
• Establish project governance, prepare gate reviews, and maintain accountability for project validation.
• Develop and execute Project Execution Plans while optimizing functional needs and design-to-cost solutions.
• Report project KPIs covering safety, cost, schedule, and resources.
• Coordinate users and stakeholders and apply global engineering expertise and digital engineering tools to complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Engineering or an equivalent engineering degree.
• Extensive experience managing medium- and large-scale engineering projects in pharmaceutical or biomanufacturing technologies.
• Proven experience delivering projects as the owner, with strong engineering and technical management skills.
• Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing site operations, constraints, and requirements.
• Experience with technical design of bio/pharma aseptic process operations and facilities.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly, solve problems pragmatically, and translate business needs into technical requirements.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical or biomanufacturing facility start-up or manufacturing experience.
• Lean mindset and continuous improvement certifications.
