Location: Onsite positions in Plantation, Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, Coral Gables, Delray Beach, Jacksonville, Parrish, and Winter Garden, Florida, United States. Weekend work and some travel may be required.

What you will do
- Provide proficient veterinary medical care and support the practice team.
- Deliver patient care including blood transfusions, oxygen-cage care, cardiac monitoring, dentistry, wound care, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Monitor unstable and high-risk patients while handling animal bodily fluids and tissues safely.
- Use integrated practice technology, serve as a PIMS administrative super-user, and support colleagues with system use.
- Manage controlled-substance logs, assist with inventory needs, and maintain clean workspaces.
- Communicate patient updates to veterinarians and support team training, mentoring, and client complaint handling.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited veterinary technology program is preferred.
- Current veterinary technician licensure is preferred.
- Ability to complete the Veterinary Technician III skills checklist.
- 5+ years of veterinary technician experience in practice is preferred.
- Strong client communication, compassion, observational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite at an assigned Florida practice location; weekend work and some travel may be required.
