What you will do

• Evaluate product quality complaints to determine adverse drug events or effects.
• Conduct thorough investigations, document findings, and communicate outcomes to customers and stakeholders.
• Report quality complaints and adverse events to the Board of Pharmacy (BOP) and other regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate with Compounding, Medical Affairs, and R&D teams to drive continuous quality improvement and reduce complaints.
• Manage product returns and support the investigation and disposal process.
• Develop and review SOPs and relevant training materials.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D).
• Active pharmacist license in the state where the practice site is located.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and USP 795, 797, and 800 standards.
• Business proficiency in English speaking, presenting, and writing.
• Analytical skills for root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of pharmacist experience and 2+ years in quality assurance roles within pharmaceuticals or compounding facilities.
• Experience in a 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, EMR, Zendesk, and pharmacy management systems.
