What you will do

• Lead research initiatives in Computer Vision and Multimodal generative AI to advance model performance.
• Train and fine-tune large-scale Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and diffusion models at scale.
• Design, implement, and evaluate deep learning models within a production environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into AWS services.
• Publish research in top-tier conferences and journals to maintain innovation leadership.
• Mentor and guide other scientists and engineers to foster a culture of scientific excellence.

Requirements

• PhD, or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in CS, CE, ML, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in deep learning, computer vision, algorithms implementation, or human-robotic interaction.
• Proven track record of patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Proficiency in programming with Python, C++, or Java.
• Strong expertise in algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, or parallel and distributed computing.
• Location: Must be based in Israel (Haifa or Tel Aviv)

• Experience leading, mentoring, and growing teams of five or more scientists.
