What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Java 17+ and Spring.
• Develop applications following hexagonal architecture and clean design principles.
• Build and maintain event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka.
• Work with relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle) and non-relational technologies (Elasticsearch, Redis).
• Analyse system functionality from performance, stability, and security perspectives.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and delivery teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 17+ and Spring Framework (MVC, Data).
• Experience with object-oriented design patterns and hexagonal architecture.
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• English: Minimum B2 level required.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, React, or Python.
• Background in banking or financial services.
• Experience preparing High Level Design (HLD) documentation.
