TL;DR

AI Engineer (GenAI): Designing and delivering AI-based solutions for a web-based workflow application for the Federal Government with an accent on agentic workflows and RAG architectures. Focus on building AI chatbots, intelligent dashboards, and translating Proof of Concept agentic solutions into production-ready systems.

Location: Onsite in the USA. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to classified information.

Salary: $60,000 – $82,000

What you will do

• Design and develop AI-enabled features using LLMs, GenAI, and agentic AI patterns for web-based workflow applications.
• Build RAG pipelines leveraging application data, policy documents, and business process publications.
• Implement agentic workflows using orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, Agno, or CrewAI.
• Architect full-stack AI features with reliable API integrations, error handling, and responsible AI guardrails.
• Maintain full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and Java.
• Address security vulnerabilities and ensure strict compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the client level.
• 1+ years of experience in software implementation (SDLC) and developing generative AI/LLM-powered applications.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and strong JavaScript proficiency.
• Experience with LLM orchestration (LangGraph, CrewAI), RAG architectures, and vector databases.
• Strong understanding of ML fundamentals, NLP, and data analysis libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Experience with Docker and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Nice to have

• Experience with vector databases like OpenSearch or pgvector and embedding models.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud, AWS Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI Service.
