Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Take ownership of the full software lifecycle from requirements analysis and design to implementation, deployment, monitoring, and support.
• Design and deliver maintainable, reliable, and well-tested production solutions.
• Own and evolve specific areas of the codebase with a high degree of autonomy.
• Collaborate closely with quants, backend engineers, and product stakeholders.
• Use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully to enhance productivity while maintaining high code quality.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience designing, building, and operating production software.
• Proficiency in Go, or strong experience in another modern programming language with the enthusiasm to learn Go.
• Experience building distributed systems and microservices in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Solid understanding of Git, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and observability.
• Experience with Docker, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, GitHub Actions, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and gRPC.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience building software in the financial services or fintech industry.
• Knowledge of financial markets or a genuine interest in learning the domain.
