What you will do

• Define and oversee the strategic roadmap for UAV hardware development.
• Build, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers specializing in CAD, aerodynamics, composites, and electronics.
• Supervise structural and aerodynamic calculations, FEM analysis, and system integration.
• Drive the adoption of advanced materials, such as composites and additive manufacturing.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, production, and certification teams to ensure compliance.
• Manage project budgets, allocate resources, and monitor development timelines.

Requirements

• Higher technical degree in aerospace, mechanical, or aeronautical engineering.
• 10+ years in hardware engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles (preferably UAV or aerospace).
• Proficiency in CATIA or equivalent CAD systems.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamic principles and engineering mechanics.
• Proven track record in UAV/aircraft design and prototype development.
• Must be based in Kyiv.
