What you will do
- Design and implement Java backend components for a high-performance clustered product.
- Develop new features and perform maintenance, bug fixes, and refactoring.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment through design discussions and code reviews.
- Mentor and support teammates to maintain engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- BSc in Computer Science.
- Strong expertise in multithreading, performance, and memory analysis.
- Proficiency with client/server concepts and web technologies (HTTP, REST, JSON).
- High level of English proficiency.
- Location: Must be based in Herzliya, Israel.
Nice to have
- Experience with Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat architecture.
- Knowledge of distributed/clustered systems and databases like Elasticsearch.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Domain knowledge of storage systems.
