Technical Requirements
At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in Java and back-end application development.
Solid experience building RESTful services, microservice-based architectures, messaging platforms (such as RabbitMQ), and relational databases.
Practical experience with Kubernetes and cloud environments (GCP)
Familiarity with NoSQL databases and distributed system design.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and working within Agile development methodologies.
Strong understanding of scalable, high-availability, and performance-oriented system architectures.
Experience in banking or capital markets, particularly in trade lifecycle management, post-trade processing, or foreign exchange (FX) systems.

Nice to have:

Experience with Go or Rust.
Knowledge of ClickHouse or similar analytical database technologies.
Exposure to front-end development.
Understanding of API governance principles.
Experience working with high-volume, large-scale data processing systems.

We are seeking Expert Software Engineer with deep expertise in back-end development and software architecture to help design, develop, and enhance business-critical financial platforms. This position blends hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and close collaboration with globally distributed engineering and business teams.

Recruitment process:

Technical interview with external company (Karat)
1.5-hour technical interview at the end client office
Cultural fit interview
