What you will do

• Define item definitions for Autonomous vehicle functions and perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA).
• Perform safety analyses including DFMEA, FMEDA, FTA, and DFA per IEC 61508 / ISO 26262 guidelines.
• Develop functional and technical safety requirements for heavy truck systems and define security controls.
• Coordinate with distributed teams to manage security scope during software development activities.
• Assess technology proposals from external suppliers and support functional safety audits and assessments.
• Maintain safety-related artifacts and documents through reviews with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in system engineering for control systems or architecture on autonomous trucks or passenger vehicles.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with IEC 61508, ISO 26262, and other international standards.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and validating Functional Safety related technologies.
• Experience with ALM and System Modeling tools such as IBM DNG, IBM Rational Rhapsody, and IBM Rational Team Concert.
• Location: Must be based in Cairo, Egypt

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AGILE software development processes.
• Awareness of regulations affecting instrumentation, emissions, safety, and Board Diagnostics.
