What you will do
- Champion the team’s front-end strategy and secure buy-in for architectural decisions.
- Build highly testable, component-based UI code with strong contracts.
- Drive architecture decisions including design systems, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
- Design and consume REST and GraphQL APIs, including schema design and contract reviews.
- Integrate agentic AI features, including streaming UI patterns and LLM output handling.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a team lead driving architectural solutions and mentoring peers.
- 7+ years of experience shipping enterprise-grade web applications.
- 5+ years of experience building responsive SPAs using React and TypeScript.
- 3+ years of experience with state management, build tooling (Vite/Webpack), and performance optimization.
- 3+ years of experience building web applications using Node.js middleware (Express/Koa).
- Experience with front-end test automation frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
Nice to have
- Experience influencing cross-team roadmaps and architectural designs.
- Experience maintaining design systems and shared component libraries using Storybook.
- Proficiency with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk or DataDog.
