Senior Accountant - Asset Management

What you will do

• Establish capital accounting processes, standard operating procedures, and control frameworks in the new ERP environment.
• Lead the migration of capital and asset data from Great Plains into SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data integrity and ledger matching.
• Develop and execute SAP S/4HANA user acceptance testing, investigate variances, and coordinate defect resolution.
• Transfer knowledge to and train the Bangalore offshore delivery team, overseeing the transition into production and go-live.
• Support financial close, journals, reconciliations, OneStream submissions, consolidated reporting, and external audit requests.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance, shared services, or global business services.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Great Plains, or Dynamics 365.
• Accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or CIMA.
• Experience in process optimisation, technology-enabled finance programs, change management, and capability development.
• Strong business partnering, influencing, data analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work from the listed Australian locations: Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide.

• Experience with retail accounting activities.
• Experience working with offshore or outsourced shared service delivery models.
• Experience with SAP ERP implementations and finance technology programs.
