What you will do

• Configure, install, and maintain database management systems to keep performance at peak levels.
• Manage user access and implement security policies to protect data from unauthorized access and external threats.
• Perform capacity planning and growth projections to ensure scalability for business needs.
• Coordinate database project plans with cross-functional teams aligned to organizational goals.
• Propose and implement enhancements that improve database performance and reliability.
• Develop backup and recovery plans and support end users and application developers with complex database issues.

Requirements

• Experience implementing and managing Microsoft Windows Server 2016.
• VMware ESXi experience.
• Public/private cloud management experience, especially migration from on-prem to cloud.

Nice to have

• Automation experience, especially IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service).
• Vulnerability management experience.
• Experience with on-prem AD FS with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and/or Azure AD.
