Group Claims Support Specialist: Supporting the Group Claims team by managing claim documentation, processing records, and providing responsive service to policyholders and partners with an accent on accuracy and workflow efficiency. Focus on maintaining electronic claim files, verifying information, and collaborating with Claims Examiners to ensure timely service delivery.

Location: Madison, WI (Onsite)

Salary: $21.44–$29.16/hr

What you will do

  • Gather, verify, and enter claim information into the management system.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate electronic and physical claim files.
  • Review incoming correspondence and route documentation to appropriate Claims Examiners.
  • Respond to routine inquiries from policyholders, beneficiaries, and employers.
  • Process vendor and medical provider invoices for payment.
  • Generate operational reports and participate in departmental initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in an administrative or operations role within insurance or financial services.
  • Familiarity with claims management systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Access.
