Staff Machine Learning Engineer (Simulation)

Salary: $251,000–$310,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and deploy ML models to evaluate autonomous vehicle behavior.
• Build and maintain robust ML infrastructure to support high-performance models.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to bring state-of-the-art research into production systems.
• Design and operate large-scale data systems and simulation workflows.
• Combine expert human judgment with advanced ML models to deliver high-quality training data.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Robotics, Statistics, Physics, Math, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience building productionized ML models.
• Proficiency in Python and C++ for production system design.
• Strong background in applied Deep Learning.
• Proven track record in improving model quality.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of experience building productionized ML models.
• Experience in reinforcement learning or transfer learning.
• Experience working with large-scale data and complex models.
