Compensation: $750–$2,000 per case, depending on case complexity.

What you will do

• Conduct independent remote case reviews for medical necessity, appropriateness, and quality of care.
• Prepare evidence-based assessments and written determinations using established clinical guidelines and review criteria.
• Review utilization management cases, appeals and hearings, and quality-of-care or standard-of-care concerns.
• Maintain clinical integrity, neutrality, and objectivity throughout the review process.
• Complete reviews independently and meet required turnaround deadlines in a secure remote environment.

Requirements

• Board certification in cardiac electrophysiology by an ABMS- or AOA-recognized board.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. license or certification.
• At least five years of clinical experience in the specialty.
• Active clinical practice with patient care averaging at least 20 hours per week.
• Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assess cases objectively.
• Ability to sit, read, work on a computer, and monitor a screen for extended periods.
