What you will do

• Build and maintain core market data infrastructure in Rust.
• Solve practical real-time market data problems including cross-exchange pricing differences, data quality, and latency.
• Incorporate real market data and trading systems knowledge into engineering decisions.
• Communicate clearly with a distributed team as the group grows.
• Take on leadership of a small team (3–4 people) over time.

Requirements

• Senior or staff-level engineering experience with strong, hands-on Rust.
• Experience with real-time streaming systems.
• Experience with high-scale data storage and processing in a market data context.
• Real market data or trading systems experience (market data provider, trading firm, or bank preferred).
• Background in traditional finance (not web3/crypto-native).
• Based in Europe (or the US) and able to work independently from day one.
