Chief Information Security Officer

Chief Information Security Officer (Security/Privacy): Set and execute hirify.global’s security strategy and roadmap across products and corporate systems with an accent on scaling AI-driven security tooling, operational security, product security, and data privacy. Focus on building and leading a centralized security organization, driving governance risk and compliance (including ISO 27001 and SOC 2), and partnering across engineering, product, clinical, regulatory, quality, IT, legal, finance, and commercial teams.

Location: Dallas, Texas

Salary: $243,000-$365,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

What you will do

• Set hirify.global’s security strategy and roadmap for external products and internal corporate systems.
• Recruit, build, and lead a 20-person centralized security organization.
• Scale and drive adoption of AI-driven security tools and automation patterns with engineering to improve operational security, product security, and data privacy.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams across engineering, product, clinical, regulatory, quality, IT, legal, finance, and commercial.
• Serve as an external-facing security leader with key customers and security organizations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive management experience in security engineering and/or information security organizations.
• 10+ years of technical experience in software, security, and relevant tools.
• 5+ years working with cloud and enterprise security systems, including pre- and post-sales customer engagements.
• Direct experience with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as Okta, CrowdStrike, Wiz, Synk (or equivalents) and hyperscaler platforms including Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Security, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• 5+ years in the healthcare field, including familiarity with HIPAA and state consumer health privacy laws.
• Board-level exposure and leadership confidence.
• Direct experience with FedRAMP and GDPR.
• Leadership responsibility for governance, risk, and compliance functions.
