What you will do

• Provide strategic and tactical insights into emerging medical cost trends and develop executive-ready presentations of analytical findings.
• Extract, summarize, and analyze large datasets using SAS, SQL, or similar analytical tools.
• Perform opportunity assessments for strategic medical cost programs, including savings projections and post-implementation measurements.
• Develop improved business case and savings estimate capabilities to enable deeper and more accurate projections.
• Drive independent medical cost analytics to identify claim cost drivers and present insights to key business partners.
• Collaborate within a matrixed environment to partner with other departments in building a comprehensive analytical story.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in Medical Economics, Healthcare Analytics, Informatics, or Actuarial Services within the healthcare payer sector.
• Proficiency in technical data tools including SAS, SQL, R, Tableau, and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate analytical outcomes and partner with business stakeholders to test strategic hypotheses.
• Solid knowledge of emerging trends and challenges in the healthcare industry.
• Location: Must be based in Pennsylvania (PA).
